This flagship study involved the construction of a user-friendly economic impact model of the Mauritian economy, driven by a forecasting model and incorporating a matrix of environmental impacts. The model represents a major breakthrough in tourism planning and development tools. Funded by Air Mauritius and the Mauritius Government. Seychelles: Tourism and its Economic Impact on the Economy of the Seychelles. A study undertaken on behalf of the World Tourism Organisation to update and review the earlier impact study of tourism. This study resulted in the production of reports and the development of a software-based impact model that was installed on the computers of the planning officials in Seychelles. |
