The Narrative Research Grouping draws on existing strengths in teaching and researching narrative within the Media School.
We define narrative very broadly and are concerned with examining it as a structuring mechanism across multiple media and disciplines. We intend to build on existing links with international organisations, conferences and journals, and to foster collaborative work both within the School and with other Schools across the University.
By inviting external speakers and developing our own identity as a group of researchers, we hope to stimulate research activity in line with the University's Strategic Plan, especially regarding the development of English within the Media School.
