Research

The centre aims to explore and challenge notions of the consumer, the author, the user of interactive media and to diminish the perceived divide between the theory, production and experience of these forms. Timely predictions and responses to technological and industry-based advancements in interactive media is a central part of our remit.

IPE provides an organisational entity for interdisciplinary activities involving the establishment of international interactive media networks that feed to and from undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development programmes directly, by encouraging collaborations between all levels of research, teaching and learning both within and outside The Media School.
