Bournemouth University requires its students and staff to abide by various rules when using the computing and telephone facilities provided.
These include local regulations which determine how our systems may be used, licensing conditions associated with particular packages and services and the relevant areas of UK and/or International law.
- You are responsible for familiarising yourself with the relevant regulations. Remember that ignorance of the regulations is not a defence.

- for educational or research purposes
- non-commercial
- legal, decent, honest and true
University Policies

There are University Rules governing computer and IT Facilities. All users shall adhere to JANET Acceptable Use Policy, copies of which are available in the Library.
