John Kent Institute in Tourism Studentships
The John Kent Institute in Tourism will build on BU's research strengths and research potential, focusing on specific areas of interest within Tourism which attract national and international recognition. Research will be encouraged to be multi-disciplinary, embodying the BU spirit of cross-school collaboration and support.
The Institute welcomed its first four students in September 2010. Their PhD subject titles are:
The Institute is now awarding ONE fully funded PhD Studentship for entry in the 2011-12 academic year. Please note: applications are now CLOSED. Candidates wishing to apply may select one of the following projects:

Please note that it will be the successful candidate who meets all necessary criteria in terms of academic excellence and language capability (where applicable) who will be funded, rather than the project itself.
