In addition to the guidance you get from academics within your School you can also access the Academic Skills community within myBU. All students are automatically enrolled in this community which contains a wide range of resources designed to help you develop your academic skills. It has information on a variety of topics including:
- Academic writing
- Critical analysis
- Exam and revision techniques
- Oral presentations
- Referencing
- Avoiding plagiarism.
The Academic Skills Community also offers the opportunity to ask questions, sign up to any workshops (which are run periodically during the year), or arrange to meet an advisor for one-to-one help.
