Learning Space Enhancements, Summer 2008

We are pleased to announce changes to the Ground Floor of The Sir Michael Cobham Library.

New facilities include:

• a greater variety of social learning spaces, with power supply for laptops
• 6 techno booths, equipped with interactive whiteboard, PC, keyboard mouse and laptop connection (group booking)
• cafe vending area
• digital signage
• hi-tech study room/learning space - for drop-in open access computing and group study as well as delivery of information skills sessions
• web booking system for techno booths and 16 research PCs

The work was completed on 26th September 2008.

At Bournemouth House Library our enhancements to the learning space include adding more clusters of tables and chairs suitable for group discussion as well as another 4 PCs around one of the pillars.
