The Sir Michael Cobham Library in 2008Imported from Japan and installed by the artist in June 2008, this sculpture is a gift from the Fine Family Foundation and is part of the University’s Permanent Art Collection, providing a focal point within the library courtyard. The artist
describes the piece: "
Through my work I try to convey the void between the conscious
and the unconscious in the environment surrounding me. I want to express the feeling I experience from the wind and at the same time the way a stone in the environment might feel " Learning Space Enhancements in Summer 2008 The Sir Michael Cobham Library in 2007 - Gallery Home
