Library and Learning Centre in 2006

The completed LLC opened its doors in Janurary 2003 and is intended to meet the current and future needs of the university's academic community.

Laptops are now common place and a security campaign encourages safety using cables and Chelsea Clips.

60% of loans and returns are self service in the Talbot Campus Library and Learning Centre. Over 250 computers are installed equipped with the latest low-energy flat screen displays.

Students are able to work safely and with access to help online, by telephone or in person. There are 8 study rooms and all the building is covered by wiFi giving access to 40,000 e-books and 18,000 e-journals.
