The availability of library stockThis year we have continued our emphasis on finding e-solutions that will increase access whether the library buildings are open or not. We now have over 67,000 e-journals and report series and 60,000 e-books. Use of e-resources has dramatically increased and the number of loans has steadily decreased over the last five years as can be seen on the following graph. The aggregate of e-downloads and print borrowing is increasing overall.
The use of our Copyright Licensing Agency agreement to scan eligible key articles and book chapters from the short loan collection has resulted in over 650 high demand items now being in the myBU e-reserves collection.
