Bournemouth University is registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. Further information is available on the data protection pages of the University’s website.

Personal information supplied by you will only be used by University staff in conducting the business of the University. In the case of our online chat service it will only be used, as and when necessary, to provide a full answer to your query and for statistical analysis. Transcripts of chat sessions are logged and saved on the server of our service provider, Altarama. The data held within the software is owned by Bournemouth University and will be treated as confidential by Altarama, who will not disclose any data held in the system to third parties.
