UK Borders (United Kingdom Boundary Outline and Reference Database for Education and Research Study) provides access to digitised boundary datasets of the UK in many GIS formats. First time users must complete the one off registration procedure at the Census Registration Service.

Digimap is a web-based service delivering maps and map data of Great Britain to UK tertiary education. Data is available either to download to use with appropriate application software such as GIS or CAD, or as maps generated by Digimap online. Other Digimap services available include Geology Digimap which enables viewing and printing of maps from the British Geological survey, Historic Digimap offering historic Ordnance Survey maps of Great Britain and Marine Digimap of UK marine and coastal zone map data.

Scopus is an abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources in the sciences and social sciences. Updated daily, it indexes15,000 peer-reviewed journals from more than 4,000 publishers, open access journals, conference proceedings, trade publications, book series, patent records and scientific web pages. It contains over 33 million records, of which 16 million records include references going back to 1996 and 17 million pre-1996 records going back as far as 1841.

The TOXLINE database is the National Library of Medicine's bibliographic database for toxicology. TOXLINE covers much of the standard journal literature in toxicology, complemented with references from an assortment of specialized journals and other sources listed below. TOXNET® offers features such as relevancy ranking, and flexible sorting and downloading options.
