Health Information Resources

Formerly known as the National Library for Health, Health Information Resources is the gateway to online health care resources for all who work within or for the NHS. It offers access to the full text of much material which cannot be found in traditional literature databases, such as reports from Governments, charities, Royal Colleges and other professional organisations, guidelines and protocols, specially commissioned reviews, and clinical images. Most content is freely available without the need for username or password, but some requires an NHS Athens account (on application to an NHS Trust library).

HeinOnline
On-Campus Connection | Off-Campus Connection

HeinOnline provides access to full text law journals (mostly US titles, but with a growing number of UK titles). In addition, the database contains the following US materials in full text: the Federal Register; all US Treaties and Agreements; decisions of the US Supreme Court (published in US Reports), plus a collection of 'classic' legal monographs. Each publication is provided from volume one onwards. The database is fully searchable. The materials are scanned into the database, so pages appear online as exact images of the original print publication. NB Please select PDF to view or download a document.
