British Association of Social Workers
The largest association representing social work and social workers in the UK. Includes a jobs page.

Community Matters
Community Matters is the nationwide federation for community associations and similar organisations, with more than 1162 member organisations across the UK. Includes a jobs page.

Community Practitioners' and Health Visitors' Association
Community Practitioners' and Health Visitors' Association, UK's leading professional organisation for health visitors, school nurses, nursery nurses and other community nurses working in primary care. Includes a members section.

Development Trusts Association
The DTA is a network of community enterprise practitioners dedicated to helping people set up development trusts and helping existing development trusts learn from each other and work effectively.

General Social Care Council
The General Social Care Council is responsible for setting standards of conduct and practice for social care workers and their employers, for regulating the workforce, and for regulating social work education and training. Includes Social Caring Magazine.

Joseph Rowntree Foundation
The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) are two independent charities that work together to understand the root causes of social problems, identify ways of overcoming them, and show how social needs can be met in practice.
