Social Bookmarking: ScholarSocial bookmarking is a way of storing your "favourite web resources" and then organising, "tagging" and sharing them with others. The resources can include web sites, individual articles, chapters or learning objects found on the web. There are many social bookmarking services available, some of the most popular include deli.cio.us, StumbleUpon, Furl and Connotea. Scholar social bookmarking can be used within myBU, giving the advantage of functionality at your unit level. However, using Scholar is not confined to academic use within myBU and can be used after you leave Bournemouth University. To explore Scholar , login to myBU and open the Scholar tab. Help sheets are located in the myBU Help tab. If you need further help with Scholar, or want to discuss ideas about using it, please talk to your Subject Librarian. |
