The library subject teams for each school offer one-to-one or group sessions on any aspect of the provision or use of electronic information resources. Topics could include (but are not limited to):

  • e-books and e-journals
  • searching strategies and the use of ‘alert’ services for keeping up to date
  • support for research activities, including use of the EndNote reference manager software and the BU institutional repository
  • overview of the services we provide for staff, including scanning of book chapters/articles onto myBU, secure electronic delivery for photocopies
  • use of Google Scholar and Windows Live
