
MyPC allows you to pre-book technobooths and selected study computers in the Libraries, up to 7 days in advance.
All the computers in the booking zones are for academic and research use. They are not for social computing.
Please make sure you login within 15 minutes of your booked session, otherwise you will lose the booking.
Designed for group use, with seating for up to six people.
There are four bookable booths in Bournemouth House Library. The Sir Michael Cobham Library has six on the ground floor, four in the social learning area on the 1st floor and three in the Postgraduate Study Area (1st floor).
You can book or login at a booth once a day, for 120 minutes.
Daily allowances are set so that you can also use bookable Study PCs on the same day (up to a maximum of 4 sessions per day / 10 sessions per week).
DL117 and DL202 in The Sir Michael Cobham Library can be booked by students for group work.
When you arrive, login to the computer immediately to validate your booking. If you don't do this, your booking will elapse after one hour.
You can access MyPC from any University networked computer. Or for quick access, use one of the dedicated walk-up computers at the Library Help Zones in The Sir Michael Cobham Library and Bournemouth House Library.
The booking system is not available off-campus.
Login using your student (or staff) username and password. You will see an interactive timetable showing the location of PCs. Use the drop-down box to select the area you are interested in booking.
