International Students Studying at Bournemouth University

The Library provides a range of resources, and services to all students. We are aware that international students may have special concerns and issues, so we try to offer a high level of support.

How do I find help?

If you would like to learn about using the Library or if you are having difficulties finding the information you need, you can contact the Subject Librarian for your School. Subject librarians run sessions on how to use the Library's resources, and are available for individual help.

Information about using the Library can also be found on myBU Library tab, on our webpages and in printed guides in the Library. You can ask for help at the Help Zone and Subject Advice Service desk or online via our Chat and askBU services.

Can I access the Library when I am back home in the vacations?

A number of electronic library services may be accessed if you are away from the Bournemouth University campus and have Internet access on a computer at home. Further details may be found on the pages How to Access E-Resources or from your Subject Librarian.
