myBU Guest Access

myBU is only available to registered staff and students of Bournemouth University. Guests who require access to myBU must be sponsored by a member of Bournemouth University staff and should have a legitimate academic reason for making this request (e.g. external examiners; guest speakers)

These guests will be issued with a temporary myBU username and password and will be temporarily enrolled in the appropriate myBU courses. Guests must agree to abide by Bournemouth University computing regulations and to should be aware of copyright restrictions when accessing materials.

Sponsors should ensure the guest will use their account appropriately and respect student confidentiality. Sponsors should also ensure that students are aware of the presence of the guest user in their myBU course, and that the guest may be able to view course materials and have access to communication tools.

To request temporary access for a guest, Sponsors should complete the Guest Access Request Form.
