Further to our offer of a place, please carefully read the information below on the next steps you need to take in order to enrol on the Bournemouth MBA:
In order to reserve your place on the Bournemouth MBA, we ask for you to:
- review the BU Rules and Facilities (pdf 106kb).
- review your fees and funding commitments and other additional costs (pdf 57kb).
- review the Bournemouth MBA course structure.
Meeting the conditions of your offer
If you hold a conditional offer please endeavour to meet the conditions of your offer as soon as possible.
If your offer is conditional on meeting English language requirements you may be interested in Bournemouth University Preparatory English Programme (BUPEP).
If we have requested further documentation from you please send this to the address below.
If you do not meet these conditions we will not be able to enrol you on to the course.

Accepting your place
To accept and secure your place on your course you will need to complete an acceptance form and pay your deposit.
If you have applied online please log–on and complete the acceptance and deposit payment sections.
If you did not apply online please follow the steps below:
- Complete an Acceptance of Offer form (pdf 45kb) and return it to the address below.
- pay a non-refundable* deposit as stated on your offer letter. This will be deducted from the full course fee payable when you enrol. The deadline for paying your deposit is 1 June 2012.
*Students who do not meet the academic conditions of their offer, or international students who do not obtain a student visa, will be entitled to receive a refund of any deposit payment made. Proof must be provided in both cases.
How to pay deposit
You can pay your deposit in a number of ways. Click on your chosen payment method below for further information.
Credit Card

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards and Delta, Electron, Mastero and Solo debit cards.
- Download and complete the Tuition Fee Deposit Payment form (pdf 32kb)
- Scan and email your Acceptance of Offer form to mba@bournemouth.ac.uk.
Bank Transfer
- Contact your bank to transfer the deposit payment in sterling into our account:

- Please scan your Acceptance of Offer form and a copy of the transfer receipt to mba@bournemouth.ac.uk.
- Please note that your bank may charge a transfer fee. You should ask your bank for this charge to be taken into account in addition to the deposit payment to ensure we receive the full amount in sterling.
Sponsorship

If your company is funding your studies please:
- Scan and email your Acceptance of Offer form to mba@bournemouth.ac.uk.
- Ask your sponsor to download the Sponsorship form (pdf 36kb)
- Your sponsor will need to complete, sign and stamp the form. They will then need to send the form direct to:

Confirmation of Place
Please notify us once you have made your deposit payment.
Once you receive confirmation from the Admissions Office of your deposit payment and your offer on your course is Unconditional you can.
Unconditional Offer Holders
If you are starting your course in September 2012, your offer is Unconditional and you have paid your deposit, you may apply for Bournemouth University’s (BU’s) Pre–sessional Study Skills Programme (PSSP). PSSP is designed for international students whose first language is not English. The main focus is to develop your study skills and improve your English and communication skills.
Book your accommodation
Full–time postgraduate courses
If you hold an unconditional offer and have paid your deposit, then you are able to apply for a place in University accommodation. Conditional offer holders need to meet the requirements of their offer before making an application for accommodation.
Part–time postgraduate courses
For flexible, short–term accommodation, there are a number of hotels and bed & breakfasts in the local area. For more information, view:
Apply for a scholarship
The Business School offers a number of competitive scholarships each year for the most promising of students. This includes Full and part–funded MBA Scholarships and the MBA Director’s scholarship, open to students on this course only. Find out more at:
International students
It is important that you begin making the necessary arrangements to apply for your visa as soon as possible. You must make sure you meet the criteria and produce the relevant documentation to enter the UK. To obtain a Certificate for Acceptance of Studies (CAS) from BU you will need to hold an Unconditional offer and have paid your deposit. Please note your CAS can not be issued until 3 months prior to the course start date.
You will need to have a Tier 4 Student Visa sponsored by Bournemouth University to be able to enrol and study with us. Please note if your visa is tied to another institution we will not be able to enrol you at Bournemouth University.
