The Student Medical Centre is based in Talbot House, Talbot Campus, and is available to all BU students.

The Student Medical Centre offers:

  • General medical care
  • Family planning, including routine and emergency contraception
  • Sexual Health Clinic
  • Sport medicals
  • Travel advice
  • Immunisations
  • Treatment of sports injuries
  • Asthma clinic
  • Cervical smears
  • Removal of sutures
  • First aid/dressings
  • BUNAC medicals

Available at Talbot medical Centre

  • Yellow Fever vaccinations
  • Wart/Verucca Freezing sessions
  • Minor Surgery

Registration for new students

As a new student it's important to register with a local GP.

We're available in Talbot House between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

To register with us please download the NHS Family Doctor Services Registration form (pdf 250kb) and bring it to the Student Medical Centre.
