The 17th Annual Postgraduate Research Conference 2025
In December 2025, the Doctoral College proudly hosted the 17th Annual Postgraduate Research Conference. The event showcased the outstanding research being carried out by our postgraduate community and provided a vibrant platform for sharing ideas, networking, and academic discussion.
The conference featured over 50 poster and table presentations, highlighting the diverse and innovative work of our Postgraduate Researchers. In addition, 15 researchers delivered engaging oral presentations, demonstrating their expertise and contributing to lively discussions.
Around 200 participants attended the conference, including colleagues, students, and external guests, reflecting the strong interest in our postgraduate research community and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Postgraduate Research Showcase: 3 - 26 February 2026
The Doctoral College is delighted to announce that our Postgraduate Research Showcase will take place in the Atrium Gallery from Tuesday 3 to Thursday 26 February 2026. This exhibition will showcase a selection of the posters presented at the 17th Annual Postgraduate Research Conference and celebrate some of the fantastic research that is happening at BU.
