Conference Gala Dinner
The Conference Gala Dinner for the 8th Qualitative Research Conference 2010 will be held on Tuesday 7 September at the Harbour Heights Hotel in Sandbanks.
For your convenience, transportation will be provided to and from the Harbour Heights hotel. There will be one bus pick up from the East Cliff and one from the West Cliff at 6.20pm and 6.30pm respectively, this will include a tour of the Sandbanks Peninsula, to arrive at the hotel for 7.30pm.

Bus Timetable
A scheduled free bus service has been arranged to enable delegates to easily travel between Bournemouth town centre, Talbot Campus and the Gala Dinner venue.

Gala Itinerary
The following itinerary is a guide to how the evenings event will run:
- 19:30 – 20:00 Drinks reception with live music.
- 20:00 Dinner to be served.
- 22:30 & 23:00 Coach/Bus to take delegates back to the East Cliff and West Cliff stops.
Gala Menu
Fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce is prepared daily by the the dynamic and professional brigade of chefs at the Harbour Heights Hotel. Please select your menu choices when completing the conference registration form:
Starters:
- Roasted plum tomato and basil soup.
- Chicken and pork liver parfait baby leaf salad and red-onion marmalade.
- Warm Goats Cheese and sun–blushed tomatoes with basil and balsamic dressing.
Main Courses:
- Matured Roast Beef with red wine Jus & selection of mixed vegetables.
- Pan fried sea bass fillet New potatoes & fennel salad with star Anise Jus.
- Pan fried free range chicken Breast pomme puree and sauté spring green vegetables in pink peppercorn sauce.
- Mushroom risotto with truffle oil parmesan & rocket.
Desserts:
- Lemmon Posset with sponge fingers and fresh raspberries.
- Waxed pear brulee and champagne with lemon biscuit.
- Classic Chocolate tart with vanilla ice–cream.
