
Travel Information
The conference will provide FREE buses for all delegates to and from Bournemouth town centre where most accommodation options are situated. The bus timetable (PDF 141 kb) is now available.
By Rail
Delegates arriving by air into London Gatwick or Heathrow can get the following into central London:
- Gatwick Express: Gatwick Express (To Victoria).
- Heathrow Express: Heathrow Express.
- Trains depart from London Waterloo to Bournemouth regularly, the journey taking under 2 hours.
- There are also regular trains to Bournemouth from other major cities, for example, Bristol (under 3 hours), Birmingham (under 4 hours), Cardiff (under 4 hours), Manchester and Sheffield (around 5 hours).
- Trains arrive into the Bournemouth Travel Interchange, a short taxi ride to the town centre or Talbot Campus. (Taxis can be caught from the train station).

By Coach
Excellent coach services run regularly to Bournemouth from London Victoria.
- Journey time is approx 2 hours 30 minutes. Coaches arrive into the Bournemouth Travel Interchange (see By Rail for details).

By Road
Several major roads lead into Bournemouth and Poole from the surrounding areas.
- From London and Southampton , the M27/A31 leads into the A338 for Bournemouth.
- A338 from Salisbury.
- From Dorchester and the West, take the A35/A3049 and from Blandford and Shaftesbury take the A350/A35/A3049.
- The best route from the Midlands and the North is via the M40/A34/M3/M27. See multimap
