Study Support

One of our greatest strengths in the school, is the study support that we are able to offer our students. All students of the Tourism Masters Framework are offered study support classes in the first term. The two hour classes cover many preparatory topics including analysing assignment titles, essay writing, report-writing, referencing, avoid plagiarism and critical thinking.

Students also receive dissertation- preparation support before they begin work on their research project.

Unique Industrial Placement Unit Option

We can offer masters students the unique option of being able to undertake a 6-9 month industrial work placement. Students are responsible for arranging their own work placements however the University has dedicated placement officers on hand who have a wealth of experience and knowledge in this area.

Dedicated International Office

International students are able to access a comprehensive range of English language and study skills support tutoring through our International Office.
