Awareness Raising Events

Please note that the Sharing the Flame project has successfully concluded. These pages are for information only.

These are designed to raise initial awareness of businesses as to the opportunities that may arise through the Olympics. Events are being held at:

  • Bournemouth/Poole (to include Christchurch)
  • Weymouth/Portland
  • Plymouth
  • Bristol/Bath (PDF - 589kb)
  • Taunton (PDF - 2.97MB)

The Awareness Raising events will run from October 2007 to February 2008 in collaboration with Business Link and Dorset and the New Forest Tourism Partnership.

Additionally, two special evening events - Before and Beyond 2012 (PDF - 78kb) - will examine how businesses can benefit from the London 2012 games.
