External Clubs and ContactsQi-China - Wujiquan Course Day: Saturday Times: 10am-11am & 11am-12pm Wujiquan Course: This course is designed as an introduction to the therapeutic and martial aspects of the ancient and rare art of Wujiquan – the original Mother Art of the more widely known Taijiquan. The course will be taught by Dr Alan Tinnion (Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanghai University of TCM, an Inner Chamber Disciple of the legendary pre 1949 Shaolin Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong; during his lifetime declared a ‘Living National Treasure of the People’s Republic of China’), an accredited World Authority on the art of Wuji, responsible for introducing this art to the West, in its original, authentic form. The course will be held over a period of 10 weeks, and at its end participants will have received a firm grounding in the therapeutic and martial aspects and applications of this rare and secret art, which embraces traditional Daoist Yin-Yang, Five Element and Eight Trigram theories. The course will serve as a very informative and effective introduction to all who have an interest in these ancient Chinese theories, concepts and traditional Chinese martial and therapeutic arts.
