Dean Park Cricket Ground

Dating back to 1869, Dean Park is widely regarded as one of, if not the best university cricket ground in Britain.

Previously used to stage county championship matches for Hampshire, the ground has more recently hosted Dorset in the Minor Counties Championship.

BU Cricket Club is privileged to play British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) Championships at Dean Park.

Two clubs from the local community – Parley C.C. and Suttoners C.C. – play their Dorset County League matches at Dean Park.

The ground also hosts the English Universities and Southern Universities Sports Conference representative matches, and the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) first team Championship semi-finals.

Owned by the Cooper Dean Estate, the ground has been leased by BU since 1995.
