Brush Up Your MinutesMeetings form an important part of our working lives. They provide opportunities for sharing information, exchanging ideas and reaching decisions. Some, such as exam boards and committee meetings, play a formal role in the University's way of conducting business; others, such as team meetings, are less formal but are also vital in making sure things run smoothly. This short masterclass is primarily aimed at those who take minutes of formal committees within BU, although any staff member with an interest in the topic is welcome to attend. It will cover the key principles and best practice of effective minute taking and writing as well as give you an understanding of the BU minute taking style. Facilitated by: Geoff Rayment Aimed at: Anyone who would like to brush up on their minute writings and learn the University style. Key University Documents
