Presentation Skills

This one and a half day course will show you how to overcome your presentation fears and deliver with real impact. You will learn to see the subject from the audience’s perspective and structure content for added clarity. This is an interactive course where you will have the opportunity to practise your presentation techniques.

There is pre-course work to be completed for this course.

Course Objectives 

As a result of participating, you can expect to achieve the following:

  • Understand how to plan a presentation and expand its contents in a structured way so as to maximise impact
  • Prepare and present your own presentation and receive feedback so that you can build on your personal strengths
  • Experience taking and using questions to enhance audience understanding and interests
  • Explore potential personal areas of difficulty and ways of handling them effectively
  • Choose and use appropriate visual aids
  • Explore techniques to manage presentation nerves effectively.
