The Communications team acts as ‘brand champion’ and delivers marketing and corporate communications (on- and off-line) in line with our brand values and messages.

Writing for the Web

Writing for the web is a skill that’s frequently misunderstood and rarely mastered. Yet its importance is not to be underestimated – well written, engaging web content is often the difference between readers completing an action, coming back for more, or leaving your site altogether.

This session will help you to understand:

  • How web users interact with content online and what they want
  • How to structure your content for maximum impact
  • How to write effective content that engages your reader
  • How to ensure your content is fully accessible and search engine friendly

By the end of the session participants should have a variety of hints and tips to help them communicate effectively and confidently with others.
