This briefing session provides an introduction to colleagues on the roles and activities involved with being a QAEG member.

During the workshop, we will focus primarily on the University’s framework / programme review and validation activities, allowing new members of QAEG the opportunity to understand the processes of being involved as an independent panel member. We will be discussing what we have learnt as an institution from the previous year’s activity, including documentation requirements, specific collaborative and foundation degree issues.

We will also focus on independent membership of Assessment boards and academic offences panels, together with the approval of new external examiners.

There will also be opportunities for participants to ask questions and share experiences and good practice throughout.
