LGBT Month

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender - LGBT History month occurs every February. It celebrates the lives and achievements of the LGBT community. The events taking place at BU include:

FIT - 7 February (Costa, Talbot campus) 9am-12pm
FIT is the feature film adaptation of Stonewall’s highly successful play seen by more than 20,000 students. Come and see a free showing during BUnique week.

Why do we still need an LGBT History Month? - 21 February (PG22, Talbot campus) 4.15pm-5pm
A seminar to consider why we still need to hold an LGBT History Month every year. If you wish to attend, please email diversity@bournemouth.ac.uk.

Advancing LGB equality - 28 February (PG19, Talbot campus) 1pm-3pm
A seminar to share the findings of the Equality Challenge Unit (ECU) Advancing LGB Equality Report and consider what this means for the student and staff experience. If you wish to attend, please email diversity@bournemouth.ac.uk.
