The University has arranged a one day Pre-Retirement Seminar which is available to all staff age 55 and over. The aim of the seminar is to provide participants with the opportunity to consider the changes that take place at retirement and how they can be managed in a positive way

The seminar will consist of a number of short facilitated sessions relating to relevant topics and will present opportunities for discussion and questions

The sessions will include information and advice on how to prepare for and enjoy your retirement and will cover subjects including: Defining what issues are important at retirement Pensions and financial advice and discussions Awareness of health, fitness and opportunities available Making the most of nearly 2000 hours of ‘spare time’ Identifying challenges set by a change of lifestlye
