Guidance on European and International Exchanges at BU

Developing International Partnerships and increasing staff and student mobility are important aspects of the BU International Strategy.  This workshop will provide information and guidance to academics who are interested in exploring opportunities for mobility and in particular, student and staff exchanges.  General information about how exchanges work, issues to be aware of for student and staff mobility and the importance of international mobility for student and staff development will be explored. The session will  cover  BU’s participation in the  EU funded Erasmus mobility programme, including advice on bidding for Erasmus funding and setting up new Erasmus agreements with partner universities. The workshop aims to provide advice to staff who are interested in setting up new international exchange links (non Erasmus /non EU).

This session is aimed at all academics who are interested in international mobility and exchanges.

Facilitators
The workshop will be jointly delivered by Chris Shiel (Director of the Centre for Global Perspectives), Deborah Velay (International Experience & Exchanges Coordinator) and Mark Ridolfo (Associate Dean Student Experience & International Exchanges Coordinator for the Business School).
