Supporting International StudentsThe immigration pages on the BU website has immigration advice for current students. The pre-arrival section of the website includes the Welcome Guide which includes information on life in the UK and Bournemouth, accommodation and finance. Points Based System (PBS) - international student immigrationBournemouth University is a UKBA Highly Trusted Sponsor (HTS). This means we are allowed to recruit and retain international students. In turn we need to be compliant with the UKBA regulations. These include monitoring (and when required, reporting) our international students, keeping a record of their visas and ensuring our student records in UnitE are up to date at all times. These workshops give a detailed overview of our responsibilities, and how you fit into them, in addition to other processes that affect staff who work with international students.
