Proposed New Cycle PathsCycle Path from Lansdowne to WallisdownThe Bike User Group played a key role in influencing Bournemouth Borough Council to draw up proposals for a much needed cycle path from the Lansdowne to Wallisdown. Bournemouth Borough Council revised the plans for the proposed cycle path. These new plans include many of our earlier recommendations (some of which came from BUBUG members). The Plans were then put out to public consultation, and in light of some of the consultation responses, the borough council is working on some alternative plans. Cycle Path along Charminster RoadBournemouth Borough Council drew up plans for a cycle path along Charminster Road. BUBUG members were given the opportunity to comment on the Plans during the public consultation stage. The cycle path is now in place and is working well. It commences at Cemetery Junction and ends at a new Puffin crossing at the junction of Charminster Road and Heron Court/Iddesleigh Road. LinksCycle Routes in Bournemouth Cycle Routes in Poole |
