Assessment

Assessment plays an important part in the learning process and is a key instrument in establishing levels of student performance and attainment at all levels. The policies and procedures for the administration and management of assessment are outlined in the Academic Procedures series and other associated documents available at the same location. These documents provide detailed information on:

Further information on the design and enhancement of assessment is available to staff including information on designing assessments to avoid plagiarism.

All academic provision is governed by standard assessment regulations and overseen by external examiners.
