Monitoring of provisionAll academic provision is managed locally by Framework Management Teams (FMT) which are responsible for overseeing the delivery of programmes, ensuring that academic standards are maintained and that the quality of the learning opportunities are enhanced. FMTs hold regular meetings throughout the year and maintain an action plan that outlines measures taken to improve the provision. This action plan is continuously monitored and updated by the FMT in the light of monitoring information generated throughout the year. The Academic Procedures provide information on this monitoring activity and on the processes for generating and acting on Annual Reports on Framework Monitoring (ARFM) produced at the end of the year. From 2010-11, a new process has been introduced for the collection of student feedback at unit level which informs framework monitoring. |
