eRes - Innovative e-Learning with e-Resources

Between 2006 and 2008, the HE Academy and JISC supported the e-learning Benchmarking and Pathfinder Programme. eRes was one of the funded Pathfinder projects led by BU. It aimed to enhance the student learning experience by developing and disseminating:

  1. innovative pedagogical frameworks which bring together learning activities and academically led quality e-resources within the unit of study
  2. an e-reading strategy which encompasses models for resource discovery and e-literacy
  3. guidelines on the appropriate support required by academics from librarians, staff developers and learning technologists

The eRes team, led by Dr Barbara Newland, Jill Beard and Linda Byles, included the following BU staff: Maggie Hutchings, Keith Wilkes, Sue Callard, Kathryn Cheshir, Penny Dale and Janice Hurne.
