Human Resources
The Human Resources team aims to play a strategic role at corporate level and make a full contribution to implementing and achieving the University's Strategic Plan. We will participate actively in implementing, reviewing and developing the University's Human Resources Strategy, which is closely linked to that Plan.
The Human Resources team provides an effective, professional and timely service at corporate and School/Professional Service level that consistently supports and facilitates the achievement of relevant objectives, needs and targets in an evolving environment. In partnership with our various customers, we provide professional advice and support to Schools and Professional Services and promote good practice in employment matters. We recognise that the management and development of staff forms an integral and essential part of the responsibilities of all managers. We will continue to seek to add value when providing advice and support and to make a positive, proactive contribution to organisational effectiveness, including performance management.
