Senior HR Team

The Deputy Director of Human Resources is Karen Parker. HR Manager's provide professional HR support, guidance and advice to managers and staff across the University. Each Manager provides a dedicated service to a specific group of Schools/Professional Services. Additionally, there are two HR Advisers reporting into the HR Manager's providing professional HR support.

Reward, Systems & Management Information

The HR Officer (Reward) manages the University job evaluation processes and procedures, providing a critical and central co-ordinating role in job evaluation decisions .  The HR Systems Adviser is responsible for leading and developing the University's staff-related information systems, processes and procedures. Together they also supply staff-related data to meet the strategic and operational needs of the University and external organisations.

HR Administration Team

The HR Administration Team are responsible for the effective administration of contract and payroll related changes to staff contracts, dealing with any contractual matters after staff commence employment.  This includes changes in hours and fixed term contract extensions, maternity, sick pay and resignations, as well as managing the agency temp provision across the University.

Resourcing Team

The Resourcing Team undertake the full range of staff resourcing activities in order to provide a professional, effective and efficient service to the University, including internal and external adverts and processing for all Schools and Professional Services and running recruitment skills training.
