Tips to Stay Safe

• Always lock personal possessions out of sight
• Securely lock away BU portable valuable items i.e. cameras/lap tops etc
• Do not leave your office unlocked and unattended
• Lock the door and windows when leaving for the day

• Treat door codes in the same way as you would keys
• Keys and codes are issued for your personal use only

Vehicles

• Always lock your vehicle
• Park in well lit areas
• Keep valuables out of sight

Lone working

• Please advise BU security staff if you are working alone outside of normal office hours
• Avoid walking alone at night
• Think about moving your car closer to your building if you are leaving late in the day.
• Be aware of your surroundings
