The university is committed to inspiring, supervising and mentoring postgraduate researchers. Whilst you can start a PhDs with us at any time, typically this occurs in September and January when induction events are planned for all new entrants.

We welcome applications for projects linked to any of our research areas listed below (although we routinely accept applications on areas not listed and can match you with potential supervisors). We actively encourage you to discuss your research idea with us before you submit an application.
