Bournemouth University is a charity, and one of the UK’s top new universities. Our talented academics undertake research in fields as diverse as dementia care, marine archaeology, and Sumatran orangutan conservation. As a university we rely on philanthropic income to support our projects, and are grateful for every penny we receive. We are passionate about working with young people, and committed to using our research to help others. Below are just two examples of projects being undertaken in 2017-2020.
Legacies are very important to us, and they support our work in lots of ways. Generous donors have requested that their legacies are used for new buildings and facilities, academic research, student welfare or faculty projects. We encourage donors to think carefully about their gift and not to be too project specific when making their Will, as some of our current exciting projects might have come to an end by the time we receive their legacy.
We would be very happy to provide you with more information about any aspect of Bournemouth University’s work and all contact will be treated in the strictest confidence. Please contact Claire House-Norman on 01202 961081, email@example.com for a confidential discussion.
