Our donors provide invaluable support to individual students during their studies – from ensuring university education remains accessible to all, to providing the widest possible range of extra-curricular activities.
We don’t believe anyone should miss out on university because of their financial background and work to remove barriers faced by students living on low incomes. Our scholarships, bursaries and other awards funded by donations go a long way to opening up access to education.
Grants and awards
Support from donors enables us to unlock a variety of extra opportunities for our students.
Our placement and projects grants fund the living and travel costs of students who take on unpaid internships or placements to develop their work skills and employability. This support has allowed more than 100 students take up inspiring and life-changing opportunities they would not have been able to afford.
In recent years, a flexible round of opportunity awards has supported a range of student activities – from course-related visits by the Law Society and equipment for the student newspaper, to funding for arts and sports groups.
The ICAEW Foundation has recently given us a very generous bursary to suppport a talented BA (hons) Accounting and Finance student from a low income background. We are always looking for new opportunities to provide bursaries and scholarships - please contact the team for more information.
