European funding
The European Union (EU) offers a wide range of funding opportunities that start-ups, entrepreneurs and companies irrespective of size and sector can tap into. Being a partner in an EU-funded project is a great way to boost your company’s competitiveness and support the UK government’s drive for innovation.
Horizon 2020 is the largest EU Research and Innovation programme with over €80 billion of funding available from 2014 to 2020. Forming part of Horizon 2020, the SME instrument targets highly innovative SMEs with a strong ambition to grow and internationalise, regardless of whether they are high-tech, research-driven, social or service-providing companies. SMEs can get up to €2.5 million (up to €5 million for health projects) in funding for business support and mentoring.
At Bournemouth University we recognise it is important that you work with the right partners for successful development and delivery of funding proposals and projects. We can offer support to develop your ideas and identify potential funding streams.
