How to use MatchWare Mindview (Assistive technology app): 10.30am-1pm F301, Fusion Building, Talbot Campus
This workshop is for students who have access to the MatchWare MindView software on their personal laptop or mobile devices. To be able to participate fully, it is essential that you bring your own device to the workshops. The session will cover organisation basics and planning work; how MindView can be used as a tool to help with organisation of lecture notes, revision and research and the deconstruction of assignment briefs. Brush Up Your Skills to pass the literacy skills online tests: 12.30-1.30pm F307, Fusion Building, Talbot Campus
Many employers now require online literacy tests to be done by prospective employees, so this workshop covers what you will be required to know to pass the test. The tests are standardised at Key Stage 2 level covering spelling, grammar, comprehension etc.
