Visit the Lees Gallery, in the Lobby of the Lees Lecture Theatre on Talbot Campus, to see Lost & Found, by artist Kata Papp.
Hello, are you ready to play?
Be my guest and I will show you a piece of a colourful world through my paintings.
They may raise questions in you and you can probably find answers too. You may just fancy the colours or the compositions; or what if you let your inner child get lost here for a bit?
However if you are touched by my art, I will feel they have achieved their destiny by giving you something special.
Kata graduated in Hungary as a scenery and costume designer in 2011, and as textile designer and tailor in 2013, before moving to the UK at the beginning of 2019. Feeling that she is in the right place has inspired and motivated her to produce 'Lost & Found'; capturing a colourful world in a surrealistic way.
Kata mainly uses acrylic on canvas, prefering to recycle rather than buy new, she upcycles old/ broken frames and creates new artwork on the canvases. She enjoys how her artwork inspires different feelings and meanings from the audience. This is her first exhibition.
