Atrium Gallery, Poole House, Talbot Campus: 22 April - 10 June 2022.
The exhibition showcases portraits of children taken by Milena Przytula over the past two years. During this very difficult time for us all, Milena captured a series of beautiful and unique photographs. Images presented as part of the collection were chosen by leading magazines Vogue Italia and ICONIC Artist.
Both Milena and the children were actively involved in the creative process. Most of the photographs were captured spontaneously, but Milena helped to create an amazing and magical scenery.
All the portraits were captured around local, natural places, such as Sandbank beach, Hengistbury Head and Poole Harbour.
"Children are a reflection of pure emotions. They love experimenting and creating with them was such an amazing experience. I learned a lot about working with children and about myself. It reinforced my decision to help follow their dreams." – The Artist.
This exhibition by BU staff member, Milena, aims to inspire all visitors to dream big and support children with their goals and visions.
MA student in film directing at BU, Mai Hedvig Lyngby, presents a collection of mixed media collages as a creative expression and a commentary on the feminist contemporary journey of the current day. In the Lees Gallery, Talbot Campus.
